Delicious food and friendly service. The price was not bad either.

Wonderful place! We loved our breakfast. Highly recommend if you have the chance to go eat at the Jenny Lind Country Store!

I was really excited to try this place after reading all the positive reviews. There were four of us (two couples) went for breakfast. I liked the old time atmosphere and decor and the waiter was friendly and attentive. However it all went down hill from there. Two of our meals came in about 15 minutes but the other two took another 15 or 20 minutes to arrive, the waitress said she didn't know why. My pork chops were very dry and tough and had an unpleasant taste. The gravy was good but the biscuit was so hard I had to use my knife to cut it. The hash brown potatoes were very dry. My wives ham steak was also very dry, like it had been under a warmer for a long time. This was one of the worst breakfast that I had had in a long time. I will not go back again.

The food was what I expected from a cozy restaurant like that. It was very much like a home cooked meal. Food was good, coffee was fresh and the service was probably one of the most friendly I've encountered. I'll be back again and again.

Best reason to visit Jenny Lind? Theresa! Her genuineness and outstanding service is TOPS! She has found her place, any traveller, near are far will feel special and happy they stopped! Theresa is also an excellent venue of knowledge about the history of this location, ask for sure!!!

Now that's said, Jenny Lind County Cafe is ABSOLUTELY worth finding! Catfish is crispy and not greasy, accompany it with the uniquely delicious coleslaw or ask for the housemade Thousand Island dressing on your side salad! Whatever entree you choose, save room for dessert (Buttermilk Pie is award winning, literally, Pie Girl has taken home top awards for this pie and upon tasting, you understand why!)

Go!
